Lazy Days ....

22H52 Hostel of the Rockies, Denver Colorado

Hello there, Well here i am back at the hostel after a day of galavanting around Denver street, didn't go far mind you but downloaded a whole lot of pictures. I need to make room on the compact flashes in order to take some more. It took almost two hours on and off trying to get 3 GB worth of pictures downoaded onto disks. I managed to download all those of Shara and the family day at the pool and well, I would like to think that there are some magic ones of the children there. My camera is playing up and I have only now noticed that the focus is out somehow. I will clean it thoroughly tomorrow and take a look if it improves. If not I need to have it serviced. Lazy day in general.

Everyone is nursing hangovers from last night so the hostel has been quite aswell. A rather uneventfull day, just as I had planned Tomorrow is going to be a duplicate of that and Monday the travel starts again. Kinda looking forward to it.

09H58 St Marks Coffee Shop Sunday the 12th August 2007

Well sunday morning and all is well. I did not sleep well last night, I think I overslept the day before as I only got to sleep at two bells this morning. It was also very hot. The guy that shares the dorm with me came in wasted at 01H00 and well fell around for half an hour, considered stealing my fan but changed his mind. It was facing his part of the dorm anyway, I had set it up that way. Had a long chat to Shara last night. The house was almost back to normal as most of the occupants had either gone out or gone home so she chatted till late in the night. I really enjoy our chats, as it gives you a perspective that would normally be lost during conventional conversation. It is strange how well we have got on in such a short space of time.

Well I am out of here tomorrow morning early. Amtrak to ? well i still need to see their route, either San Francisco or Sacremento. Youth Hostel there on H street five blocks down from the amtrak station is American Youth Hostels 925 H St Sacramento, CA 95814 (916) 443-1691. That is the only youth hostel excepting the YMCA which is way outa town. So i definately need to call first. Then Flagstaff hostel is Grand Canyon International Hostel 19 S San Francisco St Flagstaff, AZ 86001 (928) 779-9421 grandcanyonhostel.com So that seems to be that.

I will see where to tomorrow - free reign is an awesome addictive attitude.
