As this world rotates...

It's all about the wheel turning. It turns and yet always catches one napping. You may from time to time realise that the road is rocky and uncomfortable to travel but you know that the downhill section comes and it's such a rush to speed down these glorious paths, kids screetching with delight as their hair is blown back and caution is long forgotten as you swoop down after such a long climb to get to the top.

In most cases the momentum of the downhill run is strong enough to get you up the other 'hardship' side. But such is life that on the odd occassion it runs out of steam. In this case a wheel fell off right at the bottom of the hill and the entire shebang came to a grinding halt. You are awash with dust sweat and grit from the fall, as you stumble around looking for the cause you discover that you are alone and left with a myriad of pieces to collect and put back together.

It never seems fair and definately not pleasurable. I, on this occasion have not been left with anything to rebuild so I head out on foot. It is not the first time but I think it may be the last. I have bumped heads once to often and my heart being so much a part of my sleeve it is bruised and lacking that vitality which took some time to get all clean and shiny.

So heads up - I will continue and soon be riding again but this time it is a Soul'O' attempt...
